The work of the YWCA has never been easy or without risk. We are experiencing the growing pains of a vibrant organization, which has placed Twenty-first Century demands on Twentieth Century facilities. We are a proud and strong organization. The face of America is changing everyday, evolving and reinventing itself politically, economically and socially. The strains of city and suburban population growth have increased demand for the services we provide. The good work we do in our city, our suburbs and our neighborhoods must continue to grow and expand. We have a proud history, but will continue to look forward, encouraged by the generosity of this community to re-energize our mission and revitalize our facilities by putting WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST.
